Since 1807, the Viktualienmarkt food market has been held every day except on Sundays and public holidays. A central maypole and well are distinctive features of the 2-hectare market, where you can get delicacies from all over the world or simply enjoy its hustle and bustle over a cool beer. And, by the, way, this is where the market women traditionally dance on Shrove Tuesday.
The Hofbräuhaus brewery is legendary – and a must for every visitor to Munich. The brass band plays live every day, the beer garden is beautiful, and the beer mugs of the regular guests are kept chained up.
Leather benches, brass fittings, mahogany – and an almost inexhaustible selection of rums: this is the Havana Club.
They're a fundamental part of the city's gastronomic culture – more than 20 of them can accommodate 1,000 people and more. We'd be happy to recommend the "right" beer garden for you!
All around our boutique hotel, you'll find a wealth of culinary offerings – from bars to starred restaurants.
